Neither attachment is universally better. Pad compatibility, change frequency, pressure and process control determine the practical choice.
The adhesive-backed disc is pressed onto a compatible clean pad. Confirm pad condition and remove used discs according to the operating procedure.
Designed for compatible hook-and-loop pads and convenient disc changes. Confirm the pad face and hole alignment before use.

Custom abrasive conversion
Citra Oasis can customise abrasive discs subject to product construction and material availability. Examples include TAIYO White with Velcro attachment and L-888 six-inch Velcro discs with six holes.
Confirming attachment and hole layout prevents avoidable ordering and machine-fit problems.
PSA discs use pressure-sensitive adhesive. Velcro discs use hook-and-loop attachment for compatible backing pads and easier disc changes. The attachment must match the sander or pad.
Available formats include L-888 Velcro discs with six holes in P40–P600, L-555 PSA and Velcro discs in P40–P400, and TAIYO White PSA discs in P120–P400.
